Federation of Medicine and Therapy in Ayurveda<\/h1>

The FMTA was born in 2020, amid the global COVID crisis, in Switzerland, a neutral and privileged territory home to many foundations and non-profit organizations in the humanitarian and health fields, headquarters of the WHO and the International Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies, among others.\u00a0<\/span>\u00a0<\/span>[\/vc_column_text][\/vc_column][vc_column width=”1\/2″][vc_column_text]The FMTA began its activity by dedicating itself to the Swiss national issues of Ayurveda, by creating the first network bringing together professionals, practitioners in medicine and therapy, professionals, and distributors of Ayurvedic products, as well as people interested in Ayurveda in general, or wishing to learn more.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Today, the FMTA is going global, with its world headquarters in Switzerland and a new world headquarters in India, the birthplace of Ayurveda, and building a global network of national representatives. To strengthen their local presence, we organize our members into locals or regional chapters, while ensuring that they are represented at the national level, within our organization.\u00a0<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

We are also committed to promoting interprofessional dialogue in an integrative approach, recognizing that Ayurveda can complement other healthcare systems. Our goal is to have Ayurveda recognized as a medical system in its own right, compatible with the specific requirements of each country.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n
